A lifelong public servant and nonprofit leader, Dorothy has spent her career bringing people together to solve problems and expand opportunity.
As Virginia’s First Lady, she helped lead the No Kid Hungry Virginia campaign, delivering 12 million school breakfasts annually to students across the state. She later served as a presidential appointee at the U.S. Department of State, building partnerships with businesses and nonprofits to drive innovation, economic growth, and opportunity.
Dorothy is running for Congress to continue that work — fighting for Virginia families and making government work for the people it serves.

Fighting Childhood Hunger
Led the No Kid Hungry Virginia campaign, helping deliver 12 million school breakfasts annually and expand access to school meals across the Commonwealth.
